Wall of Christmas Cheer from Wellwishers
Come Christmastime, many people sent us cards from all over wishing us Happy Holidays and that we would come home safely. Seeing those cards on the wall from everyone that were thinking of us and it really helped to lift our spirits.
Deployment Awards about to be given out
Deployment awards can be given out for many reasons, for a job well done - mission end, for going above and beyond the call of duty, or for valor in the face of an enemy.
I deployed to Afghanistan from November 2013 to April 2014 as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom. These are a few of the photographs I took while part of my job as my unit's Public Affair's Officer.
